If things don’t work this smooth then we must figure out the problem

1. Wrong Properties Error. Don’t mess with the Movie.mpg . It will kill the quality and plus it will take to long. Whatever you ripped the movie to make it a mpg (ie: Flask or Xing), use the same on the iNTRo.mpg.

Just make sure you use the same settings. For an example: If you changed the VOB file to MPG using NTSC settings, then load up the iNTRO.mpg with the same program and save it using NTSC. Easy.

If all else fails, run the Movie.mpg and your iNTRo.mpg through Xing MPEG Encoder using VCD/NTSC settings, and you won't see this error again.

2. Get ivivideo.ax or iviaudio.ax error. Or will not slide the movie and locks up. Or only plays without editing nothing else. You have WinDVD installed, iFilmEdit doesn’t like WinDVD. Go to Start Menu, Find, ivivideo.ax and rename it to ivivideo1.ax and do the same with the iviaudio.ax to iviaudio1.ax. You have to change it back if u want to use WinDVD again.

3. Audio sync error. This means you did a quick compress on the Movie.mpg. Somewhere in your movie your audio goes out of sync. This means u need to do a better job. You can use a program called VCDCutter, but all hell will break loose on your audio. Quality is best. Redo your Movie.mpg in it’s best/slowest compression and try doing only 1 file at a time, if u need to combine VOBs, use the iEdit after to converted them to MPG.

  4. Doesn't work for VCD properties. Load your movie on the left. Before you hit record, go to the preferences menu then VideoCD Mode and select VideoCD. Now record.

  5. End of file error. On your recorded side slide the scroll bar in step 7, slide it to the left just a tiny bit then proceed to step 8.

Hope this helps,
